Year 3 Holy Communion
School Values: Make a Difference Be Passionate about Learning Be Kind Be Respectful
On Saturday, Mrs Needham and Mrs Jennings’ class will be the third and last Year 3 class to make their First Holy Communion. Please pray for them on their special day.
Prayer for the Year 3 Children
Lord Jesus Christ, bless the children coming forward to receive Holy Communion for the first time.
May this day be the step toward a life-long love of the Eucharist.
Give them a hunger for this sacred food so that they turn to you for comfort, guidance, and wisdom
as they grow into full discipleship.
Amen
I would like to thank Canon Jonathan, Fr Tom, parents, staff and children for preparing so well to receive Holy Communion. Thank you also to all of the parents who read and carried the offertory during the Masses.
International Mass
School Values: Make a Difference Be Passionate about Learning Be Kind Be Respectful
We are looking forward to our International Mass on Thursday 23 May at 9:05am. Our International Mass will celebrate the diversity and vibrancy that is found in our school and beyond. We have a wonderful sense of community and this Mass is an opportunity to celebrate how we are united in diversity.
Links with Zambia
School Values: Make a Difference Be Passionate about Learning Be Kind Be Respectful
Thank you to all of our families who contributed to our pencil cases and stationery collection. Our prayer leaders have done a fantastic job making them up and even ensured every pencil case has a nice note inside. They have now started their journey to the Zambia and we cannot wait to hear back from them. We are looking forward to strengthening our links with schools in the Zambia.
Stay and Share
School Values: Be Passionate about Learning
Thank you to the parents who came to the Stay and Share session today to look through pupil’s books. It was magical to see the children show parents and grandparents their excellent work. Stay and Share is a great opportunity to see how your child is progressing in their learning and to see how proud the children are of their books.
