Miss Carr and Mrs Patiniott's Class 2018 - 2019

The children have all settled well into their new Year 5 class!

We have enjoyed starting our new 100 book reading challenge. Lots of children have already read a variety of books.

Recently we celebrated 100 years since the end of World War One, with some activities, art and prayers.

We have enjoyed creating our own Clarice Cliff art work, which was based on Noah's Ark.

In History we have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons and we are now looking at The Vikings and their impact on Britain.

In Science, we have enjoyed learning all about our solar system and  phases of the moon and now we are learning about properties of different materials and their uses.

In R.E. we are learning about the promises God made to His people, including Abraham, Noah and Moses.

Through our Jigsaw PSHE scheme, we are continuing to learn and develop our understanding of relationships.
