Mrs Burke and Mrs Gerrard's Class 2017 - 2018

Egg - citing Events!

It has been a very exciting day in Year 1 today. After the children returned from their playtime a strange discovery was made in our classroom. The children reported that the classroom door was open and they noticed a trail of hay leading to the classroom. Upon reaching the classroom we were amazed to discover that something had made a nest on the carpet and there was a large egg in the middle of the nest. As you can imagine the children were very excited and we have had a wonderful morning discussing what might be in the egg, who brought the egg and what they might look like? Some children suggested putting a blanket on the egg to keep it warm and we have left it overnight safe in the classroom. We will report back as soon as we know more...
