Positive Plenary Parent Course

The ‘Positive Plenary Programme’ Parent Course

On Thursday January 7th 2016 we welcomed Sharon Amesu to school to deliver her parenting course. She was truly inspirational and gave us lots to think about. The feedback from parents has been very positive. Parents who attended commented:

"What a great training session, it has really made me think about how I parent my children”

“What an inspirational lady, I’m looking forward to the next session”

Sharon will return to school on Thursday 4 Feb, Thursday 10 March and Thursday 7 April for further sessions. Please note that if you did not sign up or if you missed the session, you are still welcome to attend any of the future sessions so please do remember to put the dates in your diary.

*** UPDATE*** Thursday 4 February   Developing a Growth Mindset

Another engaging session led by Sharon Amesu last night. Thank you to all the parents who attended, we hope that you found it useful. There was certainly food for thought and lots of discussion around how developing a growth mindset in ourselves and our children can support them greatly as they move into adulthood or the next stage in their school career. The next session is on harnessing parent potential and this along with the final session on building resilience will help to improve outcomes for our children - please do come along even if you have not attended the other sessions.

Slides and notes for the session on Growth Mindset can be found below.
