Extra-curricular Activities For Summer 2 Half-term 2016/17

Dear Parents

Below is a list of extra-curricular activities available during the second half of the summer term.

Please note the following important points:

  • The activities will be available to book from 2pm on Thursday 18 May until Tuesday 23 May only. Once this booking window has closed please do not ask for your child to be added on to any of the activities as the office is unable to accommodate late requests.

  • All activities will begin on Monday 12 June to week ending Friday 14 July.

  • The activities have limited places available and may be booked online to ensure a fair and equal opportunity to all pupils:

    • FREE ACTIVITIES: via the ‘Parent Login’ area on the school website

    • PAID ACTIVITIES: via ParentPay

  • If you have been able to successfully book your child on to your chosen activity this means they will have a place. If is not visible, this is either because the activity has reached maximum capacity and is no longer available to book or you have logged in outside of the booking window.

  • The teacher or coach leading the activity will take the register and any pupils present who are not on the list will not be permitted to take part in the activity; you will be asked to pick up your child if the activity is after school.

  • Please be aware of the pickup times; after school activities will finish at 4:30pm prompt. Junior children will be brought to the reception doors in the junior department for collection. Infant children will be brought to the hall doors in the infant playground for collection, except for Y1/2 Eco-Warriors who will be collected from Mrs Crook’s Y2 classroom. In exceptional circumstances, if it is necessary to cancel the activity, teaching staff will remain in school until 4:30pm to provide an alternative activity.

  • Please ensure that you carefully consider the activities you are booking as changes after the booking window has closed will only be made in exceptional circumstances.

  • Some activities may not go ahead if there are not enough children taking part. If this is the case you will be notified and a refund processed.

  • It is the responsibility of your child to have the appropriate kit in school on the required day.

  • When booking an activity you are giving consent to your child taking part in the activity.

It is hoped that all parents will work with us to ensure this system runs smoothly helping to provide safe, effective and enjoyable activities for the children.
