Curriculum

We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum which enables every child to make excellent progress and develop a life long love of learning. Our curriculum has been developed to meet the needs of all children. Over their time at St Vincent's, children build their knowledge up and skilfully apply their knowledge as skills. Our outcomes show that our curriculum has great impact on the children and this is demonstrated by children knowing and remembering more.

Our subject leaders are passionate about the curriculum and also ensure that our curriculum is enriched by visiting speakers, educational visits and special curriculum days.

In order to help you support your child we offer information about our curriculum so that you can fully support your child in their learning. We hold an annual Curriculum Evening at the start of the academic year giving information on curriculum content and how you as parents/ carers can support learning at home. It is an excellent opportunity to find out more about what your child is learning in school and how you can suppport. We hold other meetings as follows: stay and play information sessions, assessment meetings, curriculum meetings, phonic meetings and open days. Please do ask your child's class teacher about the curriculum if you would like any further information.

Here you will find all of the information  you need about the curriculum on offer at St. Vincent's. Click on the curriculum tabs to find out more.
