School Location

St Vincent's is a Catholic Primary School located in the centre of Altrincham.  It is a very successful outstanding school where we work in partnership with parents to provide the very best educational experiences for the children. The school has strong links with the parish churches. Holy Angels Catholic church is located in the centre of Hale Barns village and St. Vincent's Catholic church is located  in the centre of  Altrincham town centre.

St Vincent's is a large school and it has two entrances both located off Stockport Road. The infant department is located on Orchard Road and the junior department is located on Osbourne Road.

Altrincham is a market town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, 8 miles southwest of Manchester city centre. Altrincham has a rich history of retail and has been a booming market town since the thirteenth century, this background is evident today as the farmers market in Altrincham occurs every first Friday of the month. With close links by rail and road to Manchester and Cheshire, Altrincham has always been a sought after location. The town centre has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.  Altrincham has fantastic schools including Grammar schools for boys and girls, and plenty of things to do for families. With a strong sense of community, it is the ideal place to settle. Being close to Cheshire and Manchester, Altrincham has the benefits of being close to a city for jobs and being close to the countryside. Popular places to visit are ‘the edge’ at Alderley Edge and Tatton Park at Knutsford, not forgetting Altrinchams own national trust venue, Dunham Massey, which has beautiful parks, wildlife, a rich history in the stately home and plenty of events year round.
