Friendly fitness
This week we have been thinking about how we can be a better friend as well as remembering to show care and respect to everyone we meet. Today Mrs Gough/O'Keefe's class designed some fun fitness activities for Year 3 buddies in Miss Slater's class. This was helped by our class love of "5 a day fitness" which we enjoy as we come into school in the morning.
Some of our exercises included: The Grapevine groove, Bangra bends and balance, Turn and twist, Superstars and Stretch sprints. The Year 3 children watched and listened carefully to their Year 6 teachers. We had so much fun keeping fit together; despite the chilly afternoon we were very warm once we had finished!
