Extra-Curricular Activities
At St Vincent's, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. We offer a wide range of exciting extra-curricular activities each half term, giving children the opportunity to discover new interests, develop their talents and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Our programme changes each half term and includes a variety of sporting, creative, musical and enrichment activities. We encourage all children to try something new and enjoy the many opportunities available. As part of our commitment to inclusion, priority booking is offered to families in receipt of Pupil Premium funding and to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Booking a Club
Extra-curricular activities can be booked through ParentPay or directly with the external provider, where applicable.
Please note:
- Booking opens on a specified date, and an email will be sent to all parents and carers in advance.
- Some clubs are extremely popular and may fill very quickly.
- Once the booking window has closed, we are unable to add additional children to a club.
- Please ensure your ParentPay login details are working before bookings open. If you need assistance, please contact the school office in advance.
- If a club does not appear on ParentPay, it may be because:
- it is not available for your child's year group;
- the club has reached full capacity; or
- bookings have closed.
Bookings are made on a half-termly basis and do not guarantee a place in future terms, as activities are reviewed and may change each half term.
Important Information
When booking a club, parents and carers are agreeing to their child taking part in the activity.
Please ensure that:
- You provide an up-to-date emergency contact number for the coach or club leader to use outside normal school office hours.
- You are aware of the collection time and collection point for each activity.
- Children will only be permitted to leave the school site when an authorised parent or nominated adult is visible to the member of staff supervising collection.
- If someone different will be collecting your child, or you wish to give permission for your child to walk home independently, please email the school office in advance.
- If your child is unable to attend a booked club, please notify the club leader or, where appropriate, Sunshine Club as soon as possible.
Occasionally, a club may not run due to insufficient numbers. Should this happen, we will notify families at the earliest opportunity and arrange a full refund where applicable.
We look forward to welcoming your child to our extra-curricular programme and hope they enjoy the many opportunities to learn, grow and have fun beyond the school day.
